Federally-Facilitated Marketplace (FFM) Training

• New Agents

  If you are an agent or broker who does not already have a Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Enterprise Portal account, or who has not logged into their CMS Enterprise Portal account in over two years, follow these steps to create your CMS Enterprise Portal account and your agent/broker profile on the Marketplace Learning Management System (MLMS):

  1. Create a CMS Enterprise Portal account.
  2. Request the Agent Broker Training Access role.
  3. Complete remote identity proofing through the Identity Management (IDM) system.
  4. Complete your agent/broker profile on the MLMS via the CMS Enterprise Portal.

• New + Returning Agents

  If you are a returning agent or broker who already has a CMS Enterprise Portal Account and completed certification last year follow the steps below to renew your certification on the Marketplace Learning Management System (MLMS).

   

  All agents and brokers should follow these steps to complete Plan Year 2025 registration and training after they have completed the above "New Agents" steps:

  1. Update the Agent and Broker Profile in the MLMS via the CMS Enterprise Portal.
  2. Complete Marketplace Training on the MLMS or through an HHS-approved Vendor via the CMS Enterprise Portal.
  3. Read and accept the applicable Marketplace Agreement(s) on the MLMS.
  4. Confirm completion of all registration steps by logging back into the “Agent and Broker Registration Status” page on the CMS Enterprise Portal and printing the completion certificate. 
  5.  Confirm your registration by using the Registration Completion List 

   

  Throughout the registration process, you can use the Marketplace Registration Tracker to track your progress.

   

  Reminder: Spanish training is also live and available on the MLMS today!

   

  We strongly encourage you to complete registration and training as soon as possible to ensure you can successfully complete the process, which includes validating your National Producer Number (NPN), before Open Enrollment starts on November 1.
